I finally started working on my next painting assignment which should turn out very well. It's based on the ideas of opposing spiritual beliefs. I used my brother and my friend Brittany since they have been some of the most influential on the way I view religion and beliefs. My brother, I think, believes something is greater but not necessarily in an organized fashion with proven details. Brittany on the other hand is very much a devoted Christian and has a strong belief in life after death. I am altering these images for references for the paintings. I'm nervous, but looking forward to it all.
I finished my mermaid cap for Biran's class, it was horrible trying to sew paper together. Never again. We did our swap for class and I ended up getting Collin's piece which is going to be very hard to alter since it's a "river" with a ton of rocks in it. Literally a ton. But here's my cap.
I've been feeling very ill lately, but am looking forward to spring break and viewing the Turner to Cezanne exhibit at the Corcoran Museum.
